All Biota garments are made from recycled materials: PET from post-consumer plastic bottles and cotton textile waste.

We use the most sustainable cotton fiber in the global market:  Produced without water, without dyes or chemicals, almost zero CO2 and in factories that are 60% solar powered.

By using recycled polyester we give a second life to a material that is not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in a landfill or ocean. This way, we are extending the life of materials, reducing toxic emissions from incinerators and also helping to promote new recycling streams for polyester clothing that can no longer be used.

Our suppliers are certified with Global Recycled Standard and international Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate, which guarantees that our products are made from recycled materials and free of toxic substances. We make sure that our entire process is consistent.
